BRADFIELD PIANO SPECIALISTS
What is unique about Bradfield Piano is that we are a company of dedicated piano specialists covering every aspect of piano service. The movers are movers, the tuners are tuners, and the rebuilding staff are rebuilders — each craft handled by someone who does only that work. You wouldn’t want a piano mover tuning your piano, or a piano tuner moving your piano. Having professionals in each specific role is what allows us to provide you the highest level of piano service.
Our piano movers learned their craft working for top piano manufacturers and performance venues and are trained to properly remove the keyboard action when necessary, correct common issues, and set the instrument up safely. Our in-house technicians and rebuilding shop handle tuning, cleaning, and restoration. If you decide you need a clean/polish or restoration, the same company handling the move has a full piano rebuilding facility behind it.
Bradfield Piano was founded by a former Steinway & Sons technician trained at the Steinway factory in New York City. Our background is in working on pianos, not just transporting them.
That matters during a move. The instrument is prepared, secured, and handled in ways that protect its structure and stability throughout the process. Because of that, the piano is approached as an instrument first and a heavy object second.
After the piano has settled for several days, we can return to tune and set it up properly. Our technician is a professional musician with the Dallas Symphony and current president of the Piano Technicians Guild Dallas Chapter.

Specialized handling and equipment
Many people assume a piano can be handled by a regular moving company. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. We get calls every month from owners whose piano was already attempted by a van line or general mover who believed they knew how. We’ve seen dropped pianos, legs installed incorrectly so the instrument tipped over, and crews arriving without proper equipment and having to stop the job.
The issue isn’t effort — it’s specialization. A piano is a mechanical instrument with concentrated weight and delicate structure, and it requires specific handling and equipment.
Our movers are long-term Bradfield Piano employees, with decades of piano moving experience. We move pianos every day and nothing else. The move is planned in advance, the proper equipment is used, and the piano leaves and arrives safely.
Our piano moving services extend beyond the city of Dallas to homes, schools, churches, and venues across the greater Dallas–Fort Worth area. We regularly move pianos throughout Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Grapevine, Denton, southern cities such as Arlington or Mansfield and all surrounding North Texas communities. Whether the move is within one city or across the metroplex, our crews handle each piano with the same care, planning, and specialized equipment that define our work.

Daily handling of uprights, baby grands, and full grands by dedicated piano movers — not general labor crews.

Purpose-built piano moving tools, trucks, and protection systems.

Every move is evaluated in advance so access, stairs, and tight turns are handled safely the first time.

If you need piano storage we have a premium climate-controlled storage facility.

We discuss access conditions and layout ahead of time so there are no surprises on moving day.

The same experienced Bradfield Piano movers perform the work — not rotating subcontractors.
